Mission & Values

The Gulf Coast Community Choir is a diverse, multicultural group of volunteer singers from Sarasota and Manatee counties whose mission is to share the joy of singing, to uplift the audience, bring unity, and to support nonprofit organizations through benefit concerts and free performances.

The choir is known for its diversity, seen in both its members’ diverse age, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, and cultural backgrounds and its wide-ranging repertoire of classical, religious, Broadway, film music, folk songs, jazz and spirituals.

We believe that choral music has the power to uplift and to unite. Sharing a sense of caring, fun, fellowship, and camaraderie is highly valued by the choir.
